When I think about my blood, I think about its healing nature. Its way of connecting me to the man that I love. At least that’s how it used to be. But lately, it’s like the little rope tied to him at one end, and me at the other? It’s fraying or unraveling. All the fibers are coming apart and now we’re just a mess of string that used to be something strong.
When I think about things that are shit, I think of my daddy’s beatings. I think of what I did to Hoyt, with that guy at Fantgasia. I think of whoever or whatever beat Jason near to his death.
But my blood? My blood ain’t shit. Hoyt Fortenberry, you could not have been more wrong. My blood just saved someone’s life. Maybe it’s my fault that the rope is coming apart, but it ain’t my blood’s fault.
There are things that are shit, and then there are things that are not shit.

you know jessica, hoyt didnt mean it that was at all i promise, i think he just wanted to be human and im 99% sure that he regreted saying that.. and the stuff you did after all of it happened was out of anger and you were wrong to do that but next time stop take some deep breaths and count slowing to ten then go back to the problem and resolve it in a calm manner... im 15 and my boyfriend and i have lil disagreements every once and a while but we let ourselves cool off then we calmly talk about it and afterwards is great but if we didnt give eachother time to cool off we most likely would make unrational decisions and that wouldnt be good but hoyt loves you and you got to remember he is human and he has human needs and those needs need to come first for him and when he is hurt he doesnt always want you to bring your fangs out and say drink he wants to help him deal with it in a humanly manner but anyhow your doing great and thanks for saving jason and im sorry you got turned the way you did... but remember you are loved the way you are and you dont need to change!!!

Jess, I think that Hoyt doesn't realize, like most men, they need to think before they speak. For you the whole craving something new is like, when you are eating steak everyday even though it's the best steak ever...you sometimes have a craving for a yummy hamburger...no pun intended, dear. But for the most part honey, you need to realize that you are worth a good guys attention! Your a great girl...and please do something about that creepy doll...it has bad Mojo all over it...
the whole cooking thing:
easy things like:
-drive through/fast food
-to go from restruants
-microwave dinners
-pre made pop in the stove dinners
-sandwhichs
-pizza (get it delivered)
just some ideas hopefully they are helpful:)
im a great cook myself and i plan on going to culinary school maybe you should hire a at home chef :) just ideas but your doing great and i support you:) have fun and live you life to the fullest do everything you want to dont let anyone hold you back lol

I absolutely agree. There's things that are shit, and thing wich not. And your blood, or any other thing in yourself cannot be a shit, specially when you care about the life of the others, even when you're a vampire.

hi jessica. i know it was hard to here him say that but he is a man and sometimes they say stupid stuff. sometimes my man says certain things but he doesnt mean them in that way. i think hoyt ment thathe didnt need your blood just to heal a busted lip and black eye. im sure that if he had cancer or a broke leg or something like that he would take your blood. some times guys say stupid shit so dont worry about it ok.
Actually, you should be think that your blood is very especial. Ok, some people get addict to it, so what? People get addict to Coke if you let. Hoyt was just upset, he didn't mean it, BUT if he did you are young - FOREVER! -, hot and you are a fucking vampire! You'll find someone in just one minute. And hey, what a coincidence, you just save Jason's life! :O
At first I wanna say I´m really sorry for what´s happening between you and Hoyt, but the issue (from Hoyts wiev) is different, I think. Why do you drink human´s blood? Is it because you like the "hunting" or because it just tastes differently? If you could drink humans blood from a bottle, would you do that? I´d like to talk to you about it later, if you´d like to :). Still keeping my fingers crossed for you Jess! :)
