Nowhere to Go

On my fifteenth birthday, after having dinner at the church with my family, I snuck out with a few friends. We said we were going to get some root beer floats at Linnea and Tony’s Diner, but instead we went to the park one town over, where the public school kids would gather with brown bagged forties and stolen vodka. I had never been before, but my friend Erica used to go all the time and she was introducing me to everyone. I forgot most of ‘em, but there was this girl there, Nikki... she smelled kinda bad, and her hair was all tangled. I think she did it on purpose, she called them dreadlocks or something, but it didn’t look so good. I asked where she was from and she said she was born in De Soto parish, but she lived on the streets now. When I asked her why, she said got nowhere else to go. Then she shrugged her shoulders, lit up a hand-rolled cigarette and smiled at me like I was the biggest idiot she’d ever seen. I never felt so sheltered, you know? I knew I was going home to my cozy little house, where my mama would be folding my underwear and baking fresh cookies or some shit. And although my daddy could be mean as a hell, I still had a roof over my head. Even after I was turned, I had the old Compton place. And then Hoyt and I had a home, all to ourselves.

But now? I really got nowhere to go. I wonder if Nikki’s still living on the streets or if she found herself a home. Or maybe home is just a feeling, and it doesn’t matter where your feet are. Maybe wherever you are, that’s home.

Jess go home to Bill, he would never turn you away as he is your maker. Jason is just dealing with the fact that you came straight to him and he hasn't talked or seen Hoyt since you two separated. Things will be fine, just watch out for the damn witches!! Help Sookie if you can, she was almost your step-mother/maker, and she was shot tonight. Warn her that the witch has Eric!!

Love you Jess and keep yourself safe! You have a good heart, everyone knows that.

You've got a home right here!! I'd take you in, in a heartbeat. So glad to see that you made it through this episode. Sorry it's gotta be with the pain of heartache, but, we all have to experience it once or twice in order to mold us into the creatures we are supposed to be. It is a painful part of life (or unlife) yet it is a necessary evil. Pack up and nead north to Arkansas. I'll be waiting!

Jess first thing is go back to Bill and tell him you need a place to stay. Second when you get a chance live on your own so that you can learn yourself. Thrid remember that humans over react when it come to their heart being broken. Lastly it is a very bad thing to try to date your Ex's best friend. I mean that there is a friand code between good friends and it must be kept.

JESS!! Don't worry Jess everything is going to be okay. Bill is your daddy!! He is every understanding and remember he loves you. I know that their is alot of crazy things happening right now and you feel like you have no one, but you do. If I lived in Bon Temps, I'll invite you over and will have fun girl time!
Like I said... your best shot right now is to go to Bill. Once your there talk to him, I am so positive that he will give you the best love and relationship advice, especially for a vampire ;D I am sure you can't find that in Seventeen Magazine.

It'll be okay Jess. Don't worry about it, just go on over to Bill's. He's probably not home right now cause of the whole witch battle thing, but just sit tight. I'm sure he'll be home soon. Good luck my favorite vampire!(:

Let me tell you from experience... we are all our own home and we make new places ours by putting our heart into them... While our lives and loves change over the centuries, we can always find comfort in the identities we put on by finding something to hold on to... For me I take a book from every life and remember its words... just find something small and you'll survive anything... Besides Bill is a good maker and I'm sure he'll assist you as long as he can.

Jason only asked you to leave because hes scared of his feelings for you. don't worry he will come around soon enough. till then there's always bill, or even Sookie. (we all know she isn't going anywhere, she will pull through this).
poor hopelessly confused Jason. lol

I understand where you are coming from. I have been in your shoes. But this is where you find your true friends in life. the ones that are there for you no matter the circumstances. I am sure you will find another roof to put over your head. Life will smooth out sooner or maybe later. You just have to treat life like your home. Take out the trash and not sweep it under a rug where everyone can see the bumps under it. Life is difficult even for humans. But eventually we figure out some kind of solution in the end.
