Like You Mean It

Sometimes, back when I was human, I used to pray. The real kind of praying. I had to fake it all the time when my parents were around, but when no one was looking, real late at night, I’d clasp my hands together, get down on my knees and squeeze my eyes shut as tight as I could. I’d think so hard it hurt most of the time. I don’t know if I really believed that god would hear me, or that maybe just the universe would catch wind of it. I wasn’t praying for me or for something I wanted, it was more about reaching people outside of my little life. Hoping that some missing kid I’d seen on the news would be found, or people coming home from war would be safe, that the deaf could hear and the blind could see again.

And even though I’m getting a little tired of having to save Jason with my blood, since it’s mixing up all our feelings, making it hard to tell what’s real and what’s the blood, I’m real glad I got to give him his sight back. Maybe my prayers are coming true, or maybe some things really do come full circle. Not sure what that says about god, about me, or about vampire blood, but I think it says something about the universe.

I was wondering the same thing whether if it's just the blood talking, or y'alls feelings are real. Jason did say even without your blood, you're all he ever thinks about! :) I think you and Jason should be together! He's had a bad track record, and you could set things straight for him. Also, you forgot to capatalize the "G" in God.

Jess, Sometimes Jason doesn't always do the "right" things or never really thinks straight, and maybe you blood had a little to do with it, what i trying to say here is maybe you just need a little time for yourself! quit worrying about boys! Love ya

[...] chi vuol esser lieto, sia:
di doman non c'è certezza. [...]

This is a piece of a poem by an Italian living in 1400. Says:"del doman nn c'è certezza", " there is no certainty of tomorrow".So, I say, live your life, and what will happens, happens for a reason.

Young human/human love accompanied by a rush of hormones and endorphins that are almost as strong as V. Sure, what you have is chemical, but what everyone has is chemical. I'm so in love right now I can't barely breathe. I wound up outing myself over it, and now I feel like everyone thinks I'm substantially different. I haven't changed. Outside of Bon Temps, people don't change. Heck, even in Bon Temps Jason still isn't a panther.

Jessica...first off you are one raving beauty..I am happy you are part of this production..however in your blog if you are praying to the man above its God not god..however you being a vampire might change that..secondly..go back to Hoyt..what a sweetheart he is but Jason is so hot how can you not....I am sure the right decisions will be made...looking forward to the next season with you gracing the screen!

Jessica, part of a relationship is being there for each other. You saved Jason, he saved you. I think Hoyt was fascinated with you, and I fear that maybe a part of it was a desire to annoy his overbearing mother, but I'm not sure he really loved you--or even knew what love was. Remember how he reacted when his mom was insulting you and you snapped? He didn't suggest that you might be justified in being angry at his mother's ugliness, but that lashing out was not productive; he condemned you. You're clearly not what he needs.

As for Jason, I think he is capable of being faithful--he was to Amy before she was murdered--but she has to be the right person. He won't cheat because she can rip out his spine if he does, but because he doesn't want to have sex with anyone else. I don't know if you are that person for Jason, but you can take it slowly with him while he gauges how Hoyt is doing post-breakup. You can also see if what you feel for each other is the blood or true emotions.

Be honest with Jason. You will have to feed on others. You won't be able to cook for him, as the smell of food bothers you. You will do your best to care for him if he does the same for you.

Good luck.
